Pass events (one per call, up to 500) or an OpenTelemetry OTLP/JSON trace export as otel (gen_ai.usage.input_tokens / output_tokens / gen_ai.request.model are read; trace id becomes run_id). Give cost_usd per call, or tokens plus your own per-million prices; nothing is guessed. Optional caps: run_cap_usd and daily_cap_usd. Free watch-only returns would_alert when a cap is crossed; Pro posts one alert per day to alert_webhook. Never blocks or changes your agent. Agent Cost Log splits it by run, tool, model and day, so you can see which run or which step burned the money and cap it. ### How do I send costs? Call log_costs with one event per model or tool call: cost_usd if your provider returns it, or tokens plus your own per-million prices. Or pass an OpenTelemetry OTLP/JSON trace export as otel; gen_ai.usage token counts and the model are read, and the trace id becomes the run. ### Do you guess model prices? No. We never look up or guess a price. You send cost_usd or your own per-million prices from your provider's price page. Calls with tokens and no price are counted and flagged as unpriced. ### What is watch-only mode? The free plan logs and reports 7 days. When a run or a day crosses your cap it returns would_alert and sends nothing. ### What does Pro do? Posts one alert per day to your webhook when a run or a day crosses its cap, keeps 30 days of history per run, tool, model and day, and allows 50,000 calls a day. ### How does it compare to Langfuse, Helicone or AgentOps?
